Do you want your bars higher? Closer to you? Or perhaps further away? This great bar riser from Verholen moves the bar about 70mm (2.75 inches), and offers you the flexibility to fine tune the handlebar position to meet your needs, and fit your motorcycle.
Add an integrated ball mount for a convenient place to attach your Ram mount, or other mounting device. The ball has a 25.4mm (1 inch) diameter, which is a standard size that works with many mounting devices. Now you can have your GPS, Radar, PDA, Cell Phone or other accessory front and center where it's easily visible! Select the ball mount option before placing your order.
This kit works on most motorcycles with 22mm handlebars manufactured from 1910 through the present, and into the future! Thank you for understanding that with so many motorcycles out there, the manufacturer cannot test all makes and models. While many bikes do not need to change out the brake or clutch line, some do. Often the line just needs to be loosened from the cable ties, or repositioned behind the handlebar to provide the extra room needed. However, be advised that your make/model may require the addition of a longer brake or clutch line. After installing the riser but BEFORE riding, please verify that you can turn your handlebars from lock to lock and all the lines are not stretched or pinched.
The manufacturer has tested this riser on BMW K1, K100RS, K1100RS, R850GS, R1100G, R1150GS, R1150R, F800ST ,R100GS. Please note that this list indicates only a small selection of motorcycles, however, Verholen states that this handlebar adapter is suitable for all types of motorcycles with tube handlebars.
On the BMW F800ST, installing a longer brakeline with this bar riser is recommended. Please select the F800ST ABS brakeline option from the list above to add this brakeline to your order.
On the BMW K1100RS, special installation instructions are available, and the installation is very involved. Please email us to request installation instructions.
